Our Mission

Investing in animal control and services is vital for promoting public safety and maintaining the quality of life in Havelock. By providing funds to improve these services, we can better manage pet populations, ensure responsible pet ownership, and address issues related to stray animals. Properly funded animal control not only benefits the animals but directly impacts community safety, reducing potential conflicts between pets and residents, and fostering a more harmonious living environment.

Animal Control &

Services

The Havelock Animal Control is tasked with ensuring the safety and well-being of animals in our city. Their commitment to rescuing, sheltering, and finding loving homes for abandoned or neglected animals is commendable, but they rely heavily on the support of local organizations and compassionate individuals like you. Your contributions can help provide food, medical care, and shelter for animals in need, ensuring they receive the love and attention they deserve.

Adopted Animals

Animals that come through Havelock Animal Control often require more than basic shelter, they need essential medical care. This includes spay and neuter procedures, heartworm testing, vaccinations, and treatment for illness or injury. These services are critical to improving each animal’s health and increasing their chances of adoption.
Havelock Animals Association helps meet these needs through donations raised from fundraisers, community support, and online contributions. As a registered nonprofit, we focus on providing funding for expenses that fall outside of the city’s budget, ensuring animals receive the care they need while in the custody of Havelock Animal Control.
These needs are ongoing. Medical care and preventative treatment are not one-time costs, but a continuous responsibility. Consistent donations allow us to respond when care is needed most and to support the long-term well-being of the animals we serve.

Community Education

Havelock Community Event

The mission of Havelock Animals Association is to support the Havelock Police Department by providing funding for essential needs that fall outside of the City of Havelock’s budget, with a primary focus on Animal Control & Services.
Animals that come through Havelock Animal Control often require more than basic shelter. Many need spay and neuter procedures, heartworm testing, vaccinations, and medical treatment for illness or injury. Through community support, fundraisers, and online donations, we help ensure these animals receive the care they need while in the custody of Animal Control.
We are also committed to promoting community involvement through education, volunteer opportunities, and outreach efforts. By encouraging responsible pet ownership and public awareness, we aim to help reduce the number of animals entering the system and improve outcomes for those already in care.
While our primary focus is supporting Animal Control, we also provide assistance to the Havelock Police Department K9 Unit when needed, recognizing its role in public safety and crime prevention.
Consistent community support is essential to sustaining these efforts. Together, we can continue to provide critical resources, improve animal welfare, and strengthen the services that protect and serve the City of Havelock.
